The BBA are a time for us to celebrate Black literature from the past year. This is our space to share our love and support to our Black authors, and for us to have some fun representing our favorite reads.
This page will also serve as an archive in the years to come.
In the nomination period, any book by a Black author is allowed to be nominated.
Nominations are compiled to the top 3-5 books in each category, and voters get to cast their final votes!
NOTE: For a category to be voted on in the final Voting Period, there should be a minimum of THREE (3) nominees.
Winners will be announced throughout the day on Twitter and Tiktok and will culminate with a Tiktok live
